1. Controller and contact

The data controller is the Oudify app team. For any privacy enquiry or request, contact us at info@cybtech.com.

2. Data we collect

Oudify runs locally on your device and we do not collect or transmit your personal data to our servers. Specifically:

• Microphone audio: used to detect notes for the oud tuner and practice exercises. Processing happens on your device only, in real time; audio is never recorded, stored, or sent to any party.
• Local data: appearance and language settings, tuner preferences, favorites, recent rhythms, and lesson progress. Stored locally on your device only.
• Purchases: in-app purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and payment data is handled by the store under its policies. We only keep the entitlement state (unlocked/not) locally.

We use no analytics, no advertising, no accounts, and we do not track your location or device.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process local data to provide the app's features (tuning, practice, progress tracking) based on your consent when you use them; you may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to any third party. No third-party processing occurs, except for the processing performed by the app store for purchases.

5. Cross-border transfer

There is no transfer of personal data outside the Kingdom, because we do not collect personal data or send it to our servers.

6. Retention

Local data remains on your device until you clear it in-app, reinstall, or delete the app. We retain no data on our side.

7. Your rights under the PDPL

You have the right to:

• Be informed about what is processed (nothing leaves your device).
• Access, correct, or delete your local data via settings or reinstall.
• Withdraw consent at any time (for example, by disabling microphone permission).
• Lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

8. Security

We follow secure development practices, and your data stays on your device under its own protection and operating system. We do not transmit your data over the network.

9. Children's data

The app is not intended to collect children's data and collects no personal data from any age group.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
